Actor Kwon Sang-woo will appear in a Japanese TV drama early next year.
At a recent briefing on the announcement of the production of a new KBS TV2 drama, Kwon said he would want to concentrate on acting in 2008 and that he hopes the conditions will be right for that goal.
"I plan to appear in a Japanese TV drama next year. The script was written in Korea for Japan's Fuji TV," said Kwon.
The actor said the Korean script was used because of the language barrier for the Korean cast. He added that the drama is a love story about a popular Korean actor and a Japanese girl from the imperial family. "You may think of it as a Korean version of 'Notting Hill,'" said Kwon.
